Burlington Schools' Association (BSA)

 

Welcome to the page for The BSA!  We are a joint PTA for Burlington Nursery, Infant and Junior Schools, and we work hard throughout the year to raise funds for both of our brilliant schools.

 

2020 and 2021 have been particularly difficult years for the BSA, as all of our usual fundraising activities had to be cancelled due to COVID.  But we have still managed to hold some fun activities, including a Christmas Bake-Off, Winter Windows Trail, Virtual Quiz Nights and a Sunflower Growing Competition.  And we’re looking forward to being able to reintroduce our legendary school discos and fairs soon!

 

Anybody from the school community can join the BSA, and we would be delighted to welcome you!  The commitment doesn’t have to be huge, and every hour spent volunteering helps us to continue to raise funds that allow us to purchase equipment and experiences for children across both schools.  

 

BSA funds were recently used to create a wonderful new library for the Junior School, and also to purchase a reading book for every single pupil returning to school after Lockdown, to welcome them back and say a big thank you for being such superstars while their normal school life was disrupted. We have also funded school trips, outdoor play equipment, and visiting authors during Book Week.
