Liddington Blog 2017

Day One:

We've had a great first day at Liddington! Mrs Sims joined us today and really enjoyed the tour of Avebury! Children have settled in well after an interesting (albeit windy and wet) stop at Avebury. After a lovely, hot meal and a great campfire, we are now getting our heads down, ready for an exciting, fun-filled day tomorrow! Happy birthday Zsofia- thanks for sharing your scrumptious cake with us all!

Day Two:

After a great sleep and a tasty breakfast, we set off for our first full day of activities. Mrs Utting has joined us for the day and is getting involved in all the activities PGL has to offer! So far, we've been zip-wiring, rafting and climbing! This evening, we will be capturing the flag- this will test our team work and problem solving skills. Our group leader, Emma, is teaching us loads of funny songs which we will share with you all when we return! Stay posted for more updates tomorrow!

Day Three:

We can't believe it's Wednesday already! We really enjoyed capture the flag last night and were ready for bed afterwards. After some much needed rest, we prepared ourselves for another busy day of adventures. Today's activities have included archery, crate challenge and survivor! Although the weather is dull, we are warm and dry as parents packed suitable clothing for the week- thanks guys! The weather should be brightening up tomorrow (fingers crossed). Tonight's activity will be 'Robot Wars' which is going to be great fun! Stay posted for more photo updates throughout the day!

Day Four:

We had such a great evening last night; Robot wars was such a laugh! The weather has really improved and Mr Williams even told us to put on sun-cream! After helping ourselves to copious amounts of toast, cereal and fruit, we set off for our morning activities, which included: nature trail, vertical challenge and crate challenge. This evening we have the disco to look forward to which will no-doubt be hilarious! We are seriously going to miss this place but are looking forward to seeing our loved ones tomorrow. Stay posted for photo updates throughout the day!

Day Five:

Well... departure day has come around so quickly and we are sad to be leaving; we will miss the great food, entertaining staff and exiting activities. Our final activities today included: giant swing and vertical challenge. We are so looking forward to seeing our loved ones back at school at 3:45pm later today (we can't wait to tell you all about our adventures!) To those who have been keeping updated with the photo posts, we hope you have enjoyed them! From all the year 6 team, we wish you a happy and restful weekend!
